As far as gear isoerned, I suggest you take a look at this list ed on the EJ forums. Just keep in mind that, while it only lists leather armor, there's is little to no downside to usingloth as a Resto Druid, at least in PvE. Now, gems. They may lookomplex at first glae, but it's a rather simple system that is only madeomplex by meta gems requirements and gear upgrades. First, you need to have skets in a pie of equment to be able to put gems in it. Like thishest pie, for example. There are 3 main types of skets and 6olors of gems. Skets are Red, Yellow and Blue. Gems are Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange, Green and Purple. When a pie of equment has skets in it, it will always offer a "bonus" for using the rightolors in the right skets. Youan sk that bonus if it is not worth the loss of stats for using the requiredolors. Singleolor gems (R, B, Y) will mah skets of their ownolor only while dualolor gems (O, G, P)an be used with two different sketolors to get the bonus. Anyolor of geman be used in anyolor of sket if you don't mind forfeiting the bonus. The other type of gem and sket isalled Meta. Thosean only be found in helms, like this one. Meta gems are a separateategory of gems that will usually grant a good stat bonus along with a "spial feature" but they will have spif requirements. So the Insightful Earthsiege Diamond, for example, will grant you 21 Int and will give you ahae to restore mana when youast a spell, on theondition that in all of yoururrently equped gear you have at least 1 red gem, 1 blue gem and 1 yellow gem. Note that requirements may vary greatly and some seemingly awesome meta gemsan turn out to be a bigger pain than they are worth bause of requirements. Also note that, for requirement purposes, dualolor gemsounts as one of eh (For example, a Purple gemounts as 1x Red and 1x Blue). There are also prismat gems thatount as one of everyolor (R+B+Y). Ehants are a bit easier than gems, as there are way fewerhoes. Spellpower ehants (from memory) are usually found on weapon, wrists, gloves and pants. (Also helm and shoulders, but those are from rep anyway).
